Hillcrest House - Residential Staff Opportunities

At Hillcrest House, a program of Sanctuary House, we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for adults living with serious mental illness. We are currently looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our residential team in making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.

Open Positions:
Direct Care Residential Staff – We are seeking someone who is available to pick up shifts on an as needed basis. This is a PRN position, meaning there is not a regular, set schedule. Staff in this role are contacted when shifts become available and can choose to accept those shifts based on their availability. This position offers flexibility but does not guarantee a minimum number of hours.

  • Weekday Hours: Potential for all shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd)
  • Weekend Hours: Potential for all shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd)
What We're Looking For:

  • Availability: Must be available to work between the hours indicated above.
  • A valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • 1 year of experience supporting adults with serious mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, schizoaffective disorder).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working in a group home setting.
